Lurid Lordesses on the Lunar Lair of Lesbotron - Handmade Resin Figures
Showcasing my long-term love of cool space ladies and made-up words for dramatic effect, the Lurid Lordesses on the Lunar Lair of Lesbotron were born! These figures were made largely as a reaction to the rise of bigoted rhetoric around the LGBTQ community in 2026. As a member of the community myself, I was feeling extra passionate about positive representation, and felt like sharing something a little more personal and vulnerable through my work, albeit in my typically playful, retro-camp sort of way. Art is a reflection of the artist as they say, and even though I mostly make what I make for fun, and I don't take my concepts too seriously, it can't be ignored that whatever I make is product of who I am. Only 8 sets were made initially, but since I have revisited the figures every so often to create small editions of new colorways.
The first were created to debut at Beacon NY's Clutter Gallery "Inaction figures 13" show in 2026, and the second released at Collectedcon 2026.
